As a Consultant at Thoughtium, you play a central role in delivering client projects and ensuring quality outcomes across workstreams. You will independently manage deliverables, co-facilitate core offerings, and apply best practices in design and development. You will work closely with senior team members to align solutions with client needs, strengthen relationships, and contribute to the evolution of Thoughtium. Consultants demonstrate sound judgment in project execution and a steady commitment to learning and growth.
The Role
Project Success
- Demonstrated proficiency in project leadership, leading 1-2 workstreams at a time
- Independently build core deliverables as part of staffed engagements
- Co-facilitate in Thoughtium’s core offerings
- Lead the analysis of success measurement data
Design & Development of Experiences
- Consistent demonstration of best practices around design & development
Client Relationship Management
- Lead all or parts of client review meetings
- Demonstrated client facing communication skills, relationship building and professionalism
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and market environment
Core Consulting Skills
- Develop supporting tools and assets that enhance overall value of client projects
- Collaborate with senior members of the TH team to ensure solutions meet client expectations
- Identify and deliver projects that add incremental value to the firm in agreement with manager
- Gain exposure to business development by contributing to proposals
- Become proficient in working across all TH solutions
You Have
- 1-3 years of experience in management/strategy/ L&D consulting, client services or related field
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Self-starter attitude when it comes to solving new, ambiguous and complex problems
- Ability to work proactively in a high-demand, fast-paced startup environment
- Excitement for working across multiple projects and clients at the same time
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrated consistent curiosity and passion for continuous development
- Willingness to travel to deliver on client engagements when necessary
- (Preferred) Experience using or delivering design thinking framework and tools
- (Preferred) A background in adult learning, industrial organizational psychology, or sales enablement

As a Senior Consultant at Thoughtium, you will lead multiple client workstreams, manage complex projects, and serve as a primary contact for senior stakeholders. You will take ownership of project success, from design through delivery, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and measurable results. Beyond project leadership, you help shape account strategies and identify new opportunities. Senior Consultants deepen client partnerships and meaningfully contribute to Thoughtium’s growth through their expertise and influence.

- Lead and serve as Project Lead on multiple work streams concurrently
- Create and manage the successful delivery of project plan
- Lead facilitate within Thoughtium's core offerings
- Co-facilitate for senior audiences (e.g. VP and above)
- Ensure success measurement is completed and shared for every workstream
- Ensure timely and clear feedback provided across project teams
Design & Development of Experiences
- Design and develop both small and large-scale human-centered experiences that meet client objectives
Client Relationship Management
- Consistently serve as main point of contact with client working team stakeholder(s)
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and market environment
- Active contribution in crafting proposals and statements of work
You Have
- 3+ years of consulting or industry-related experience with demonstrated expertise in management consulting, strategy development, sales enablement, change management, leadership development, learning and development or related field
- Self-starter attitude when it comes to solving new, ambiguous and complex problems
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize around what is essential
- Ability to design comprehensive engagement strategies using key trends, technology platforms, tools and processes
- Ability to quickly understand and synthesize complex issues to facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making and execution
- Ability to work in a high-demand, fast paced startup environment
- Ability to interact at all levels within and outside the organization, including executives
- Demonstrated consistent curiosity and passion for continuous development
- Willingness to travel to deliver on client engagements when necessary

As a Director at Thoughtium, you will lead complex, transformational client engagements and serve as the strategic partner for key accounts. You will oversee project teams, guide account strategy and growth, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-value client outcomes. You will also lead business development efforts within existing clients and generate opportunities with new prospects. Directors are accountable for advancing team capability and contributing to the evolution of Thoughtium’s growth and future direction.

- Act as Project Lead for larger scale and complex projects
- Lead project teams and oversee the delivery of multiple client engagements
- Lead facilitate for most senior audiences in core solutions
Design & Development of Experiences
- Design & develop human centered experiences, which may include larger scale and complex engagements
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as account lead on 1-2 Tier 1 accounts ($500k+)
- Lead account strategy and execution for Tier 1 accounts
- Demonstrate strategic account ownership and thought partnership with clients
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the client's business, industry, and market environment
- Lead the building and delivering proposals and statements of work
Account Building
Business Development
- Manage a book of business that expands relationships in existing clients
- Lead the cross-selling of TH solutions into strategic / key client accounts
Account Strategy & Growth
- Own account strategy for key accounts
- Accountable to performance of contracts (ie: driving efficient and effective projects)
- Lead collaborative communications with solutions team to share knowledge and key learnings from application of solutions
- Execute and co-create (alongside LT) client relations strategy for the firm
Relationship Building Strategy
- Nurture exceptional client relationships, ensuring consistent and high-quality interactions
- Oversee and contribute to upskilling of TH team around key skill and capability areas
Internal Leadership
- Consistent commitment to learning
- Consistent demonstration of proficiency of operating norms and values
- Demonstrate top-tier professionalism and presence in accordance with TH brand
- Contribute to framing and execution of future of Thoughtium
- Manage several key client accounts or a material sub-function of the business
- Drive thought leadership initiatives to bolster the TH external facing brand
- Demonstrate ability to lead people (on projects and as direct reports), potentially leading 1 or more direct reports
- Demonstrate ability to delegate work equitably across team
- Effectively lead and influence a team of consultants and senior consultants in the advancement of work, performance and growth
- Mentor TH team in skill development
You Have
- Minimum 5 years of consulting or related experience with demonstrated expertise in scoping and delivering client projects, experience facilitation, business development, and internal practice development
- Ability to consult a wide range of client organizations from large-scale corporations to start-ups
- Entrepreneurial instincts, a passion for community building, and energy for thinking outside of the box
- Experience in managing and growing a personal book of business
- Experience in facilitating strategy, leadership development, and culture workshop experiences with leaders at all levels of an organization
- Proficiency in building project plans, scoping large projects, developing client service contracts
- Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced startup environment
- Willingness to travel to deliver on client engagements when necessary
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and produce high impact results
